Become a 'Friend of the Stupa'

Would you like to keep in touch with this community of stupa lovers? Being a ‘Friend of the Stupa’ comes with no obligation. You can get involved as a volunteer or simply receive Kauai stupa news by email. Periodically we will be sharing talk stories of local Kauai happenings that involve the stupa.

Three times a year the sangha gathers to clean the temple and generally spruce up the grounds, oiling the statues and prayers wheels and hanging new prayer flags. For the current event, click here.

Throughout the year there is a weekly work session to mow and weed whip the grass, trim the hedges and bushes, hand weed, and move plant debris to the green waste. If you'd like to help on a more regular basis, please let us know.

The temple is also supported by donations, at the donation box in the pavilion, by mail (The Dharma Sanctuary, PO Box 74, Kilauea Hi 96754), and through this website via PayPal at the bottom of this page.

The temple was consecrated in 2009. The property is still managed by the original founders. In 2025 an effort is being made to broaden the responsibility of looking after the temple with an eye to future stable management, led by the administration of the Board of Directors.

We thank you for your support so that the temple can continue to exist for future generations as a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. May it benefit all beings and bring much merit to those who help sustain it.
