It is exciting to hear of the many stupas being built in the West today.  Most of them are Tibetan style, due to the many experienced Tibetan lamas who are leading the way in this effort.  It is also a sign of the maturation of the Buddhist tradition in the West.  It seems we are ready to put down some roots and plant the flag of Buddhadharma.

This section of the web site is focused on cataloging stupa sites around the world, with a special focus on current projects. It is also a place to learn about significant Asian stupas that you can visit. Please help us expand this offering by letting us know of new projects that are not yet reviewed on the site.  This is a group effort!  Let us know what you’re planning, and what you’re building so we can all share with others.
