The Electric Universe (EU) theory represents one of the most startling paradigm shifts in astrophysics and astronomy to appear in generations. It is however, still considered fringe by the establishment who cling to the Standard Model based on Newtonian physics coupled with Einsteinian notions of quantum mechanics.
It is an exciting subject, because it appears to have answers for many mysteries that continue to plague the current model. These mysteries – the big bang, dark matter, and black holes, created entirely as mathematical constructs, are seen in a completely different light in the EU approach.
The dominant relationship in the universe is electrical, recognizing that all planetary bodies are charged with polarities, and that this force is many, many times greater than the force of gravity. Plasma, the fourth state of matter is a companion to electricity, and is found throughout the universe. In this view, our sun does not exist as a self-regulated, ongoing thermonuclear explosion with a solid core, actively converting hydrogen into helium. Instead it is a plasma body that generates a greater heat at its extremity than at its core, a reaction that can be demonstrated in a laboratory. If the sun were a controlled nuclear explosion, the heat would not increase, but dissipate as it radiates outwards from the core. Instead, bright stars like our Sun are great concentrated balls of lightning!
This is one example of the many scientific observations of plasma behavior that help prove the validity of the EU theory. Looking further into the behavior of comets, pulsars, stars, and planetary formation, other insights can be gained that disprove the Standard Model. Comets are no longer seen as cold, ‘dirty snowballs,’ but bodies forged in explosions or intensely heated exchanges, and are electrically charged. Indeed, traditional astrophysics no longer supports the original dirty snowball theory, but hasn’t yet adopted a new understanding.
This is the current situation with many theories – they were formed by a previous generation of scientists, and today are limping along, supported by mathematicians who fabricate new underpinnings for old theories that are needed when new, contradictory information arises. This is what happened in regards to comets – a NASA space probe brought back evidence that there was no water on comets and that it was composed of highly fused particles, meaning it did not come from deep space as a left over dead rock from an early universe formation.
The EU model is fascinating because it opens a window on a whole new way of looking at the universe. I have spent a great deal of time researching this subject, because as a layman, it is not that difficult to understand, and the rewards of understanding the implications are great. It may not get you a cup of coffee and a hamburger, but it does satisfy the intellect to look behind the curtain and see what may lie ahead. It also brings me satisfaction to see one more example of another collapsing paradigm of the old world order.
To gain a fuller understanding of the EU theory and its profound relevance to our future, the best web site to explore is Wal Thornhill’s Holoscience.com.
Also helpful is Thunderbolts.info, which is hosted by a group of scholars, including Thornhill. The EU theory is drawing strength from many disciplines, and in turn is influencing these fields in surprising ways. There are some shocking developments related to the sister field of plasma cosmology that are worth investigating.
It appears that not long ago in human history, there were catastrophic events that occurred in the sky above us. Many of these plasma discharges resulted in earth upheavals. This is one explanation for what likely happened at the end of the last ice age. Even more recent, just prior to the rise of Sumer and Egypt another chapter of cataclysm occurred.
A side story is the startling revelation that many ancient petroglyphs were inscribed onto rocks as a recording of dramatic celestial events occurring as plasma configurations in the sky. To understand how this happened is like a trip into Alice’s Wonderland.
This subject is full of eye opening and mind-expanding insights about a world that is just coming into view for those of us willing to look deeply.
In the next post, I will explore the most stunning topic of all related to the EU theory – the Saturn Polar Configuration. This is a view of a very different solar system configuration that occurred in our past, an age when the Gods were the planets and located not far above our heads. The story of their dramatic lives was the story of the planets in orbits and in behaviors that are different than today. It is something that has been uncovered by the field of Comparative Mythology and promises to shake the foundation of many scientific disciplines.

It’s an interesting idea. My mind is open to proof.
For decades science told everyone that Mercury was tide-locked to the Sun keeping one face always towards the SUn, much like the Earth and Moon. We now know this is false.
Venus rotates the wrong direction to fit the traditional model of solar system formation. Yet another example of how traditional astrophysics doesn’t match reality.
Personally, I’m interested in what comes next. Even though a model gives correct answers, it doesn’t mean it’s an accurate representation of reality.
Thanks for commenting, Matt. Everything is theory and open to revision. Some things stick while others fade in time. The illusion is that someday we will know the full truth.
Our best approach is to hold these theories in our mind and contemplate them like a superb piece of candy. Some people may feel the need to harden themselves toward a belief if they are attempting to build a career on the subject, but for most it is better to admire at a distance.
The enjoyment for me is coming upon these outside the box discoveries, and celebrating the new ideas in them and their benefit in getting people to break out of their stuffy old beliefs.
